Do you measure yourself against the best in the world?
The first motivational speech I ever heard came from Les Brown. His ability to inspire and motivate an audience through storytelling and articulating his own personal life experiences became the catalyst for me to start using my own voice, to share my own messages with the world. My speeches are delivered to engage an audience, nourish their enthusiasm and stimulate a desire to awaken the leader within themselves.
For any speech to be effective it needs to trigger actions. As powerful as words can be at the time it is action and "doing" after the event that creates substantial and sustainable lifestyle changes. My goal when I speak is to energize, educate and enable my audience.
